Windstream is making all the right moves to transform the business away from the legacy products. The only question is did they pivot in time.

a chimp can literally do a better job then this piece of trash.
Keep posting the positive reviews, TT. We all know this company s---s eggs big time...starting with you and filtering down to the chickens that run the departments [into the ground]
Just in case you didn't know, the stock dropped to 2.82. Yeap, great company.
Kool aid. Have anyone of you guys looked at the at the financials and considered the churn rate along with other market environments. It’s not a matter of if. It’s only a matter of win.
It’s sad that you have to do rate increases to force people to sign contracts because customers are trying to leave.
You guys are an embarrassment. Why not earn people’s business?
"Y’all don’t even give it a chance. Stock has been coming up even."
Back below $3. Again.
Looks like TT will need to sell another portion of the company.
Have a great day...
The quintessential WIN a-- kisser. Go get'em tiger
Windstream has too many CO, and COLO sites on the CLEC side of the business, you have Paetec, Cavalier, EarthLink and BV sites all in the same building in some markets. They are paying the ILEC for each cage in these CO or COLO, windstream buys up these companies but fails to integrate everything together to one system and one cage for each LEC site, if they want to pivot, it's too late, they are bleeding out money paying for all these cages. Funny part is when they do cut off services to some of these cages, the records are so bad they dont even know they cut off a customer until the customer calls in. Then it's a Chinese fire drill to get them back in service.
Ok what right moves have they made exactly? SDWAN? Office suite ? Did they stop TDM or work to actively get the obsolete equipment out of the network so they can provide a better customer experience? The problem WS has is simple one too many yes men and women surrounding a C level exuctive team who fall for every new shiney thing that comes along regardless of the actual value that the technology offers to the bottom line and more importantly WHEN? If it had to be deployed 52 years to hit the break even for deployment costs perhaps it’s time to reach out to some professional engineers and lay out a PLAN not chase after ideas. Have a 5 or 10 year plan. Leave enough flexibility in it to be able to incorporate new technologies that can actually add value, stop doing anything with the played out old junk copper OSP. Get rid of the DMS platform already and get it through your heads that GPOP is not cutting edge and new except in Arkansas apperantly and that the PIVOT to new technology needs to be part of a larger plan to correct the course of the company. SOME of the right moves are being made. A lot are not and the top down big ideas that never get any third party independent review will be the end of WS.
This has to be the dumbest post I have seen period. Pivot my a$$.
If you kept any stock prior to the reverse split, you lost money. It is only worth 0.618 cents to you right now. Instead of drinking the kool-aid, you need to hope that you get to sell this years stock match in March before it dumps again. If you think a reverse split is great for a company; it is not, especially for a company having financial issues. Nevertheless, If you want to keep drinking the kool-aid and follow your leader to his promise land, that’s your decision.
What is it you call legacy? The stuu that makes money? How old are you? Wireless is only wireless as far as you can throw it.
Fk Windstream! If TT sees this, Fk You Too!
I'll admit I'm sleep challenged. I just spent 4 days trapped in a steel box out in an oil rig full of robot forklifts. But now I'm back, and I am recovering, and I am focused, and we're going to pivot. Don't lose faith guys. Look at me, look at me. We've got a great name, we've got a great team, we've got a great logo, and we've got a great name. And now we just need an idea. Let's pivot. Let's pivot.
Don’t forget that even at $40, that would be only $8 pre split. Right now, we are sitting at $3.09/share, which would be $0.62/share. That’s not too impressive. Does the Aurelius case have any bearing on the stock price?
You responded to me below. I agree.
"Y’all don’t even give it a chance. Stock has been coming up even."
True, but it needs to get back into the $30 or $40 dollar range for people to take it seriously, and with this leadership in place, bankruptcy is more realistic. It could go up to $10, but they would need to jettison all the executive leadership team to get in the $20 range.
They blew it big time when this Clown CEO took over in late 2014 - stock was in the $70 range then - now it can't even crack the $4 range. But they will use the excuse of something like clueless executives always do, instead of admitting they don't have a clue to what they are doing.
Y’all don’t even give it a chance. Stock has been coming up even.
Well this is Windstream after all lol. The group is comprised of mo--ns, the ship is sinking! Trash cans.
These 'moves' should have been made a long time ago, not out of an act of desperation to save what remains of a company that has made so many stupid decisions from the 'leaders'....
Other telcos have moved from legacy products many years ago, but WIN was ignoring that and purchasing companies where instead they could have used that money for streamlining the company...
They are just getting rid of non-profitable groups to look more attractive when a company purchases them at wholesale prices....
