I can’t belive they are laying older people off and giving them the option to have a larger severance if they promise not to sue!

I am one of those who was discriminated against for my age in 2016. signed those papers and took the great severance and yes, for 24 years I performed well and loyally, and was rewarded with getting canned. it took a long time for the shock to wear off, but it did and I'm living happily ever after. But hiw shameful to treat good employees like that. KMG and WGR were both better companies, the mergers were ruinous, APC is gasping.
This happened to me. I took the severance package and paid off my mortgage. I now live debt free and happy. Thanks APC for helping me clear my dept even though you didn't have to. I really didn't need that much money from you, so thank you.
Agree................It can be hell to age.
Why can’t you? It’s not something new, been going on in this industry for ever.
Might want to think about that if you’re a young whipper snapper. Save while you can. The same thing will happen to you, maybe sooner than you think.
