Network took a hit on 1/18. Phone calls were made to selected unsuspecting victims. Twice now in 3 weeks. Guess this is the new norm.

Over 40 field techs just let go (2/14/19) in Southern FL region alone. Tons more in NC. Not sure how the company can run
In sales, last day 2/8. Over 100 gone including my manager. We all saw it coming, new leadership says they don’t want to sell customers premise, residential, or lmar. Just large data pipes to enterprise. Don’t care, walking away with 65k and starting with Charter on the 18th, better package, better future.
Curious the overall number in headcount reductions over the last year. Apparently level 3 is masters at laying off on the down low. Friday they cut a large chunk of sales teams and their bosses from the “legacy CTL” side. Not sure the numbers but it’s somewhere around 50-75 across a couple states.
If you think it doesn’t affect you, just wait.
Nothing on the level3 side. Asked boss again about vol. layoffs, he insists there is no list being made on the l3 side so far in 2019.
Can’t say names here but she works from home, out of Carlisle, in Network Planning
I work in PA and we have heard nothing. Who/where in PA lost jobs this week?
Definite layoffs occurred in PA, OH and NC
Haven't heard anything here in Washington. Did here that they walked out several of our tech support people last week. More brain drain
Certain states had packages offered and network techs left on eipp packages. What state had layoffs? What titles were laid off?
