Reasons to leave your Centurylink services, when it goes down it could take weeks to come back it and could still be a mess. No one seems to care about the customers

Comcast is loving our faults. They are hanging door hangers and advertising on the radio, next day install for Centurylink customers. In certain areas they are extending up to a mile free to take the customers.
Comcast guy comes up to me and wants to know why 5-6 weeks for service? Told him new MAX system. He laughed. Said we tried that POS for maybe sIx months and they got rid of it. Apparently Comcast Management is much smarter than CTL.
Dropped service at two of my residents because of these issues. If this is how they treat employees service can only imagine how bad for regular customers. Pathetic not using the product for the place you work.
As a customer service rep or previous car, I'm not even sure what my job is anymore, we always tried to help our customers. We would go as far as CTL would allow us. We would contact other groups to work out problems with service or orders, we would sit for hours going thru Bill's looking for ways to reduce or find pr6or correct errors. But then then changes came and we were no longer allowed to really help our customers. They told us we cant call or IM other groups. And Gid forbid dont contact assignments. We have been written up due to peer to peer reviews from assn reps when we have called or used the newer chat option to help a customer. When customer goes down due to a len change we need assn, but get poor cust svc review for contacting them. And we are told dont contact tech. Call dispatch. Who can understand a word they say? So we cant do our jobs anymore. They have made it impossible. I always loved working directly with our techs. They were always helpful and Vise versa when they need to call us. These new changes are doing nothing but pissing employees off at each other and pushing customers to move services to clecs.
We dropped CTL HSI in August. When I called to disconnect, I was offered a deal. Simply replied, "I'm paying half what I was fr five times the speed. No deal needed."
The MAX system will successfully get rid of the remaining customers. Comcast used it six months until they trashed it. CTL not that smart.
No more on call. They haven't cared for customers in years.
