Seriously, when is that Analyst day? When does the cast of over aged, under experienced white male executives articulate the non existent strategy of how customers are stupid and investors don't get it. Oh, and don't forget the continued perjury on the HAMR productization and SSD non-encroachment claims.

You're all wrong. Seagate cares about us. Seagate cares a great deal. The only reason people were laid off waz caz of laziness on there part. Especially 2009. LAZY get rid of em.
With the former CIO running the strategy what can go wrong? Booted from SanDisk, short-lived CIO at previous company, slash and burned IT at STX makes him eligible to save the company. I am not seeing it.
Why Costco is selling seagate storage drives 1/3 of the price? New product coming or lay off coming? I saw some orders for pink color paper sheets last month. Still I did not see card board boxes. Not looking good though especially LCO.
Wow - empty cubes = growing company? 55k people down to 42k in 3 years. Growing? Notebook , client , mission all going away. Growing? 5 design centers building 3 future products. Growing?

Due to the above - there are major site closures and RIF on the horizon and not growth.
I agree with Big Jeff. There are too many 160 and over right now and it's time the company figures out there is no longer any value in people pumping out white papers.

If this site is only for Seagate layoff rumors it will go dark soon! Big Jeff's strategy is to get rid of 160-161-162 levels on an ongoing basis. So if that's you, start looking.

What does being a "white male" as you said have to do with it? Sounds like you are bitter with life in general. You would be better off not taking the paycheck or profiting from the stock increase that the as you said "white male" executives provid to you.

It was supposed to be last fall but cancelled due to nothing to tell the analysts. When you have an activist investor the strategy is what that person wants and that is cut as much as possible and give the excess cash to the investors. Who cares about the HDD, HAMR or SSD claims when $2+ billion in cash per year can go to the investors.
Instead of analyst day just call it investor day and it is every day
