Massive amounts of money must be invested into all the stores and well as updating technology. Online sales must get competitive. I don't see any of this happening. Wages, benefits and working conditions must be improved, if not, you can't compete with employees who don't give a dam.

Eddie will close the rest of the stores over the next year or so, sell the real estate to himself, and then finally sell off the Sears/KMart brands and any other intellectual property to whoever might still want them. No need for any further bankruptcies.
Sears might not even emerge from this bankruptcy before liquidation takes place never mind years.
Infinity. There will not be another bankruptcy. Eddie will milk the company dry while using the tax writeoffs, then privately liquidate whatever remains. No need to involve the Courts when you’re loaning money to yourself.
