I left Win almost 4 weeks ago. HR still has not gotten back to me after multiple attempts to get my cobra paperwork. Today I recived what I belive is my final pay and is not what I was told I would be getting. Did not receive my vaca balance, 2 weeks notice and my commissions, Was told I would. I know a lot of people are leaving as fast as possible. Just keep this in mind as you are leaving. God speed

They paid me all of my vacation. I didn't put in 2 weeks notice but they paid me for one and a check in lieu of salary. They asked if I wanted the things at my desk. Nope. I brought everything home right after the lay off because of EarthLink. My husband put me on his insurance which by the way is much better than what I had
3 pay periods after I left, I finally got my severance pay, Then on the next pay period after that, I got my vacation pay. Both the severance and vacation pay were taxed at a much higher amount. I found out the vacation pay is considered a bonus in cases like this. And will be taxed at the higher rate. Both had at least one third taken out. good luck guys.
Cobra is worthless and expensive, just like Windstream Insurance
Commission will come as a the normal commission cycle. Feb Sales and Installs (if there were any) should pay on 3/29.
Cobra will come soon and you will have plenty of time to sign up. I've been laid off for awhile and have been through all the processes.
