I dont believe it is in jeaporady. Caresource has been cutting providers left and right. You cannot tell me that news that big wouldnt of leaked out by now by some other angry ex employees or something. I mean the news knew about New Mexico plan b4 Molina did. . There was not even a mention of it on the earnings call. Caresource may wear a smile and wave to the world but they are not doing too hot and have had a slow progression down. When Buckeye - the once dead last plan in the state, is beating u the once hugely #1 withoutva doubt health plan in Ohio (Caresource) then something went wrong over in Caresources camp as well. If we were in trouble of losing contract then this meeting qould have been long b4 the filing deadline date saying "hey we need to get it together or tjis RFP is pointless. They won't b4 coming in top close Ohio bc honestly there is too much money to be made here. Molina expanded to 33 counties in 2019. Caresource had a 17.9% rate hike this year- Molina 6.9%. Paramount rate increase was the lowest...Molina second lowest rate increase.

Per earnings call "Our largest health plans, Ohio, Texas, California, Washington and Michigan, continued to perform well, and established themselves as worthy of winning reprocurements". The next quote from earnings pretty much outlines the areas that they were focusing on for 2019 including laying people off - "We improved the performance of our core processes, claims, payment integrity, member and provider services and a host of others, all of which create lasting affect. And finally, in 2018, we set the stage for on-going improvement by making significant progress on a variety of outsourcing initiatives, from recently announced, which benefit 2019 and beyond". They say we "improved processes" bc they knew already what was going to be taking place as in those layoffs at the time of rhe earnings call. I would think that unless your department is listed there.. then we're should be fine for now. Earnings call: "In D-SNP, we plan to file a notice of intent to play, in 170 additional counties in D-SNP alone. Two states of which would be brand new Ohio and South Carolina. With respect to Medicaid, there are $30 billion of opportunities coming into the market, in our estimation over the next three years."

Joe to investor question about Ohio Medicaid - "We were fully expecting Ohio to reprocure -- to drop in RFP perhaps late in '19 for an effective date in '20. So we're fully prepared for that. The new administration, always when there is a change in administration, you never know what the new plan would be. The new administration in Ohio does seem to be prepared for reprocuring the Medicaid program. So we're fully prepared to deal with that and given the scope of our business, our market share and the way we perform, we're extremely confident of prevailing and perhaps even growing in that reprocurement").

Now let's also look at the other news feeds..... providers upset over Molina and denials. Molina huge fines due to appeals. Molina providers upset over claims processing. Molina members have to find new providers. Director R. sells off more stock Feb 1. Molina Ohio ranked number 5. SO you think our contract is in jeopardy. I do . We almost lost it 5 years ago when we're on top of our game and had team to fight for us. We are left with a want a be management team.

Growth hahaha for

Buckeye and Caresource

Like stated before...due diligence in research. Dont believe everything some of the doomsdayers are saying. One quick Google search about Ohio's RFP shows that they have to be submitted by (stand by as I follow instructions to "wait for it")the exact same day that Mr. State Contracts will be here... THAT is why he is here - making sure all T's are crossed and I's dotted.

Then pinksnitch it up...MMP and Medicaid have changed a lot of sh--..guarantee this person is coming to go over all of it. State contractor is not coming in to do some mass layoff. If they are going to let ppl go it would be done with Joe's cohorts. Guarantee Ohio is expanding.
