Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

P193

I work for PSE. My manager’s manager called me today and offered the same position at ISC. It is P193. Following is written in the Offer Letter:

‘Failure to accept this position will be considered a voluntary termination’

Does anyone else have similar experience?

Aero Leadership is looking everyday to figure out how to get more people off the payroll. That is their goal. Oh and how to put cash in their pockets. They don't like making aircraft parts and engines - too labor intensive. Sell everything, take the cash and move to an island.

Essentially forcing older people out ..people refuse and "voluntary quit" or make a go of it but quitting after a few miserable months ....saving the company money.

If you are pick...start looking for a new job really, Honeywell doesn't want you

Are they screwing up the government cost accounting pools again? Or trying to bail themselves out?

Dodged that bullet thankfully.

2 cents says you might be involved in a total ISC sell-off to Celestica. OK I'll start that rumor right now. BTW I used to work for PSE myself. They were trying to disconnect the old ETS from engineering entirely with an interim step of the "PSE". Just more single-moves on the chessboard.
