Whistleblower Protections

Federal laws protect and provide remedies for employees of entities that receive U.S. Department of Education (ED) funds and for agency employees who disclose information they reasonably believe evidences wrongdoing and who subsequently suffer negative actions. Some laws also protect ED job applicants and former ED employees.
