Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Timeline

On Feb. 15, Court rules that actions by Windstream Services amounted to a breach of its financial covenants, and Aurelius is entitled to a $310 million judgment,

On Feb. 19, as consideration for execution of the Employment Agreement, Mr. Thomas received a one-time, time-based cash award of $2,000,000 from the Board of Directors.

On Feb. 25, Windstream declared Chapter 11.

Is it a coincidence that TT gets a new contract and $2,000,000 cash award just before declaring Chapter 11? Were TT and the Board of Director's concerned that a Bankruptcy Judge would not allow such as outrageous arrangement?

This has to be the one of the most unethical, moral lacking, self absorbed and self serving CEO and Board of Directors in America.

I hope the Bankruptcy Judge sees this midnight maneuvering with the disdain it deserves and nullifies the agreement.

NO Merit increases for the lowest level employees.

HUGE BONUS for the CEO.

Yet we hear the RAH RAH RAH WE CAN DO IT c-ap on stream after the judgement a couple of weeks ago... instead of taking a hard look at ourselves and saying WE MESSED UP BUT WE ARE GOING TO HOLD TT ACCOUNTABLE AND SHOVE THAT $2MM BONUS UP HIS BOOTYHOLE

Don’t forget performance reviews going on now and TONY THOMAS said in his town hall no more merit increases but yet he managed to get a 2 mil bonus when the rest of us get not jack sh--
