Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

It is Judge Jesse Furman's fault.

Despite emotions, the true blame goes on Judge Furman. He ignored the real reason for the Aurelius lawsuit. It was not about bonds, but high paying credit default swaps. Two years after the fact, they come in and sue. Furman IGNORED this, blew it off. Aurelius has what is called dirty hands. Unclean motives. Jesse Furman made the call. It is his fault. Furman inherited $14 million, a family fortune, and is a silver-spooned well-to-do. He has no idea of the daily struggle we have.

Had he stood his ground against such despicable action by Aurelius, none of this would be happening.

We can blame TT and team, or Aurelius, but the bottom line is that Judge Furman made the decision. This is HIS fault.

Don't blame the judge for enforcing an agreement the execs and board made.

If you your performance was as bad as TT do you think you would’ve master more than 15 months? Would you be surprised if

You were let go?

Absolutely not. I think tony is creative but fails to execute his plans bc they’re not achievable.

I’m knocking the board of directors,

You should all be ashamed. People are fired for much better performances and we pay them a lot less.

Nice try, TT! WIN was on life support for many years due to incompetent executive decisions, this ruling just speeded up what everyone knew was going to happen eventually. And it probably saved WIN from acquiring another company or two that has gone the way of the dinosaur - like Earthlink was.

Bankruptcy will bring in sorely needed company restructuring - probably resulting in the jettison of useless weight in the former of clueless executive leadership. Eventually when what is left of the company re-emerges from bankruptcy, it will not be as bloated as it is now, it will probably have people in key areas that know how to run a business.

It wasn't like WIN was a company like Amazon and this ruling torpedoed their stock....lol

He didn’t ignore it. Anyone who read his decision knows that. He mentioned the delay specifically and stated that just because the decision to sue was delayed didn’t make it any less valid. Next excuse please

Lol. Yeah blame others for the complete failure of the executives and apparently bad attorneys.

Technically Windstream violated the terms of the Bonds. Windstream has some accountability in this. That is not to say that Aurelius isn't a bunch of f---ing dirt bag a--holes, they are. What they did should be criminal. It most certainly is immoral. I feel bad for the employees that are going to get hit very hard by this. That is the part that I hate.

Just wonder if the "employees" could bring a lawsuit against Aurelius and bring them down hard while getting the necessary money to help those who are affected the hardest....
