Charlie is not a god: nor his he even a great and admired man: he is little liked; he never took steps to make himself liked.

Some guys even mas$$##te in the wash rooms to take out their frustrations , a new low for this company hehehe
Normally it is said spread love... But that does not apply for this company anymore. Hate of employees is rising at a fast rate.
I peed on the men's room floor ... of course, that is, if I could get space in the men's room given the overcrowding.
I thought that was just overspray from hand sanitizer when I used the computer after you.
Remember, the board hired these people to do this. Charlie was not hired to be nice to people, he was hired to trim the company and improve the bottom line for investors. Some management layers beneath him is your boss. If you are treated badly, it’s on that person and/or the environment that produces such behavior. In any case, that’s the company’s challenge, to trim staff and continue to function productively. But... unhappy employees are not productive.
If you want a company to make you happy, consider becoming an investor. Just make sure to pick companies that bring you joy. :-)
Doesn’t matter even a little bit. He would laugh if he read this. Charlie doesn’t care if he’s liked. Or admired. Or any of that nice stuff. None of that is his job, and he does not care. He does not care about how WFH changes impact anyone. He doesn’t care about people who have been, or will be laid off. Everyone is a cog in a wheel and that wheel spins around to make a number appear below the line. It’s unfortunate because there are other ways to run a company but that’s not how HE runs a company. Either get on board and check your emotions at the door, or get out now.
