Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Here is a few points here:

• You will have to give them your work REAL email address, cannot register with gmail, etc.

• It's a Korean company with Chinese investors backing it, your data goes to China/Korea - all company info you reference on the app goes offshore, legally they are overseas, good luck

• They got hacked and all emails were stolen, someone knows who was posting and where - they tried to hid it - look at that link below that someone posted

• the fact that some tech companies use it does not make it legit, tech companies and their employees are known to be reckless when it comes to privacy, etc. this will never fly in oil & gas

• i can go on and on here, i just do not trust them and i am perfectly fine here on thelayoff, each of us is able to figure out if a post is legit or not - if you work here you'll know what to ignore and what to pay attention to when looking at things here

• so, its a big NO for me
