New Job Offers

Word on the street is that with the new company we will be forced to accept our job offers again through pmp or segno. I’m not just only worried about the pay cut or change in benefits. But is there any truth to this??

If you are that concerned take this time and show some initiative and look for a new job. Who knows what you will find?

Just don't f---ing sign it.

They will say it's your only option, however is it really?!?

Remember where you came from, what you've done, and what you're worth!

You can go f--- yourself if you feel otherwise. There's plenty of opportunity growing in the markets right now.

Accepting a lowball offer to just hang around for the possibility of severance or just to spite the company sounds like a copout if other job options are available.

Most of us have bills to pay and roofs to keep over our heads and we don't have the luxury of sitting back and taking a pay cut just to prove something to our employer.

It makes it sound like this hypothetical situation:

"Uh....I can't pay my electric bill this month because my pay was cut at work.....but if they think I will give up and quit, they have another thing coming....I'll show them even if I have to live in the dark!"

"Here lies Mike O'Day.

He died defending his right of way...

His way was right and his will was strong...

but he's just as dead as if he'd been wrong."

my thoughts if they offer you a job and if they don't want to have you they will lowball or cut your pay. Most will not accepted that and they will let go without a severance. Best thing is to accept that job and just hanging around doing nothing until they are tired of you and pay you a severance to leave.

True. Same old company with the same underhanded practices. Saw numerous title and position changes over my tenure at sears. nothing has or will change. and we were always rated on change management............what a joke!
