This board has been really quiet.... Any signs of layoffs now than Think is over?

Ak1j. That decision was made weeks ago. IBM have very clear visibility just weeks into a quarter. This is the result of moving to a services business model. Long term contracts have very reliable cash flows
Where does Watson Health fit into that picture?
Anyone patrolling for WARN Act notices filed by IBM?
Spin Off to private equity? Pray tell Mr. Bendover
Spin off company-Oregon - 150+ last day 2/28/19.
@XKbgdZW-ukw, that is good... anyone not bringing revenue should not have a job at IBM... looks to me Bain's work may finally be paying off?
Do you think GTS will get hit because of the new tool?
So far so good. No layoffs.
Still alive
Well on the GTS front they are pushing a new tool that takes the compliance teams out of the mix.
That will put a stop to a ton of overpaid salaries helping their bottom line.
Unless the tool is a BigFail like BigFix and nobody uses it. Let's hope they didn't bloat this one up.
@XKbgdZW-owg, I would be interested in hearing which Integration SW you think IBM will sell off?
1-2 weeks it’s coming . Latest 3 weeks. More sell offs lay-off spinnoffs . It’s an IBM garage sale and the children (workers) are for sale too.
Ginni just got two more years from the board . She’s not going away.
Patience grasshopper patience. This is Ginni’s last swing of the bat before she exits stage left and transitions to a new CEO. The CFO has already shown his cards as to how he is going to transition from “legacy” to “strategic”. Low margin businesses will be exited, and high margin businesses will be embraced. Certain low margin businesses will be tolerated as they are viewed as catalysts to spurring high margin engagements
