Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

This mess!

Most of this stuff on here is BS from people that no longer work at WS. If you don’t have anything TRUE about the company and layoffs stop posting dumb junk nobody wants to read. No one cares about your speculations.

For the person starting this post:

If you are are content to wave the win flag, what are you doing on The Layoff.com? I suspect you are trying to find insight into when your last day is?

The ones that lets apparently knew what was going on. I left! It's that freedom of speech thing and knowing what is going on. I still have friends there. I can read. I lost money because of all of this. Yes, I have a better job. Some that do not work there any more have experience in being screwed over before and are simply trying to get people to get up and wake up.

We care. Apparently we could read the writing on the wall. Good luck

You want the truth? Ok! The truth is vendors are now saying they will no longer carry out work on behalf of Win until our payments to them are brought current. Some vendors haven’t been paid for months. They know that Win is going to file bankruptcy and don’t want a larger loss than what they will already suffer. If work can’t be completed or products provided for customer repairs or installs, then the customers are going to leave; and as a result, revenue will go down. We are literally borrowing from Peter to pay Paul right now because of the vendor situations. How long do you really think it is going to be until other bond holders come for their pound of flesh? If anyone believes Win is growing as a whole, you are delusional. It will shrink and ch.11 bankruptcy will come. If you want to roll the dice and hope to survive that is fine, but just accept the fact that you are gambling, which is ok as long as you know the possible outcome. Just don’t be one of those douche bags who say “ I can’ believe this is happpenbig” .

I’m surprised you can actually find anything positive about the company situation on Stream. Try to find a product discription on Stream. Windstream as it was in January 2019 is no longer. When the new company comes out of bankruptcy in 2021, it will be a solid company but remember the bottom line is that Windstream sold off all the network to Uniti. The only thing let is software. What was what software project? Only the programmers are needed.

It might be on this page but I can tell you on the Barnes & Noble page, it's pretty spot on.

These 'speculations' hold more truth than The Fantasy-land that is known internally as Stream. Real people in real jobs at the company post here, not some disconnected executive that pretends nothing has changed.

These pages are reality at WIN - you too can join it if you are brave enough...
