Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Greatest day of my career

I was let go from BNYM on the 19th. I see alot of comments in which it appears that people are sad and anxious about what's next. I personally am ecstatic..I have never seen or experienced such a toxic environment. My manager was a toxic, tacky, and barren woman unfit to lead and just a miserable vile person. I am so glad I am done w her, and I love that she will still be a miserable low life working for a bad organization. I have full faith that I will land on my feet and know that the universe is working in my best interests.. stay well my friends and good luck with your careers .if you no longer work for bny Mellon consider yourself blessed

"Barren" ... I for one agree with the characterization. I've run into plenty of both men and women in management roles in BNYM whose job is their whole life where their satisfaction in life is simply their exercise and control of people.

Sorry you were let go, but “barren”? Really? Uh... that sounds as toxic as your former boss. I hope that you recover soon.

Godspeed to you in finding a new and far superior job.... never settle for anything less than the best in life.
