Just wondering, when the new company begins to operate are the workers gonna keep their benefits packages ore is there any indication that the leadership is going to try to cut the benefits. Looks like something they would do, but is that even allowed in this situation?

I am sure they will start getting rid of the few full-timers that are left before the new company starts.
They have already said they want to move to a part time for more flexibility. Part timers don't get benefits.
What benefits are left to cut? Serious question.
If everybody becomes part time there will be no benefits.
A word of caution as old company transforms into a "new" company. In most right to work states, If they present you with an offer of employment and you decide not to accept it, you may be unable to qualify for state underwritten unemployment benefits. Plan ahead and do your research.
Quite happy to drain Eddie's bank account while doing minimal work thank you very much.
You doom and gloom peeps, get off your soap box already! You keep whinning things are gonna chsnge for the worse and how you will be screwed. Why wait, just quit do yourselves and otherd a favor and move on as already!
there is nothing to cut
YOU'RE FIRED!
They will have you sign a form that says that your benefits can change at any time. That you cannot sue or go to an arbitrator if/when benefits or job codes change. Also, the form will say that if/when minimum wage increases you will not be given a raise in line with your position.
For example: if you make $1.00 over minimum wage now, lets say you make $9.00 and minimum wage is $8.00, if minimum wage raises to $8.50, you will not get a raise to $9.50 to keep you at $1.00 above minimum wage. So in theory, if you have been given raises or have taken a higher position for more money, if minimum wage goes up, you could be making the same amount as someone who just started.
Remember what Eddie did with pensions when he took over the first time? Why should we believe him this go around?
They can do whatever they want. In the next few weeks they will load your employment offer on segno for you to accept. They have been saying that nothing will change but we all know you can not trust anything they say. If you choose to not accept the new offer then you will not work for the new company. For unemployment insurance reasons I’m sure they will make most of the cuts before they give out the new offers since we are still employed by SHC and transform co is leasing us from them.
