The company is not what it is anymore. With the closing of ADC and the selling off of sectors, that should be a sign to move on. I am no longer there but it has turned so bad for the people still with the company. Move on I dont think follett will be around much longer with Nebraska and baker and Taylor taking over. Peace be with you.

ND contract negotiations start years before the contract is actually up. Based on timing, it is close to that date. Original contract was long like ten years. As school moves up in powerhouse football, they will start to demand more from bookstore. Outside service could run retail better than follett does. ND wants to be treated like royalty but Follett model doesn’t really account for the hands on approach. So it could be ND.
Ivy Tech is a large group of Indiana state community colleges. Back in the day, they were the biggest account sales volume due to the huge amount of financial aid and tech products sold. Started to decline when financial aid was restricted. It would be a big loss, not nearly as huge as it would have been 5 years ago. But a big chunk to lose.
So your saying that we are losing ND?
Midwest. Never heard of ivy tech. I imagine it's a small institution.
The last day for the few remaining employees at ADC is Feb 28..
ASU? ND? Ivy tech? All fake news??
Where in the country is this large account?? Midwest? South??
People that shouldn't be talking are, mostly as a courtesy so associates are not caught off guard. Management says business as usual until 3/31/19. I only know it's one large contract, several stores involved, many , many employees.
So the poster below is saying a mass layoff and account closure is coming? At the end of fiscal year? Details!!
Where are you getting this info?
Holding out for 6 weeks, future of numerous stores and fate of employees will be announced. Yikes!!
