Hi everyone, I'm so glad I found out about this site. I think everyone from our store is on here now. It's about time we have an actual voice! Good news for Corp: You can fire most of the HR department now and save more money!
I'm going to post some random thoughts. But nothing major, I wouldn't want to shock anyone right off the bat. I'll save that for later.

First of all, I would like to say, we miss all of you people and good friends who were let go last February. We still miss you terribly and the company has only gotten worse since you've been gone. At the very least, you are spared the abuse here.
Now then,
I've had a superior threaten to write me up (I was sick at the time) when I was on the floor in front of customers. I should've called HR but you know how they always cover things up in management's favor.
My all-time favorite is when managers threaten our jobs (via the DM) if we don't make the membership numbers. And we all know the reason they want those cards is to get customer info so they can sell their emails in the fat chance they ever were to sell the company.
And HCs (does anyone still have a HC?) are treated like c-ap and that resentment transfers to cashiers. Ah, such a lovely store atmosphere, right? I'm sure you ex-HCs have some good stories to share!
Another fun fact, SMs tell the ASMs not to help at the registers (this may differ in other stores) and why do you think that is? I know, do you?
DMs aren't very good of being "fake nice" to employees. They would analyze the employee and then run to the ASM or SM to voice their disgust. The more you know...
If you still work in a Music/DVD Dept. you shouldn't still be there, you should be working at your new job. Tick Tick.
You may have heard about a new Nook. Stop laughing, I'm serious. Wonder if anyone will know how it works.
