When a company tells you that it is giving you stock instead of cash, then bankruptcy is in site. They cannot afford to give you cash so their sh--ty stock is all they will give you. It will mean nothing in the next month.

In other countries, corporations that do this usually have their top clowns in jail or worse. Here, they will be on the FCC Board of 'Advisors' in a few years.

Windstream hasn’t defaulted. Your 401k match will be issued in stock this year, sometime in March. Exact date will be posted on stream as soon as it’s available.
