Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Leanest Staffing Alocations Among Most Retailers

Many Stores in California did not get hours cut from payroll budgets for 2019. Many even got more hours. With stocks still in the 60’s compared to a few years ago, and the expensive Aetna merger, I doubt CVS’s overall payroll and benefits expense line has increased.

Can you guys share the state you live in and what your average weekly sales (if manager) or scripts (if PIC), as well as avg weekly payroll hours-and by how much they went up or down compared to last year?

California everyone hourly. Sm Pm all have to punch in an out. They had to allocate more hours for that reason. Ca is the king of labor lawsuits. Plus stores are all size of football fields. I have 42 aisles in my store.

Customer service, people remember. Never thought institutions like KMart or Sears would dismantle. Stopped shopping at both over 10 years ago unless had no other option because there was No customer service.

Not surprised sales and scripts are down but those are significant. People remember. Do you really think they will come back for yoga after getting run around that scripts are ready for p u. Only to find out not ready, and all the other visible B.S. personally just received notice that cvs owes me $489 from clawbacks.

So many don't trust the cvs. do they really think they will come there for med advise.

Glad I sold my stock at $112 and again at $80.
