Employees wrongly let go BEFORE the mass layoff

I know dozens of people that were wrongly "let go" and disappeared. None of us would question it because we were trying to keep our jobs. Then it became a sick joke, oh, another one just disappeared. We knew who was behind it though. The male managers could never do anything right and were run out and older women were sent on their way. Seems odd, doesn't it?

Why do fired employees still obsess after a year?

For many it was their career. It’s a grieving process. Losing a job is as traumatic as losing a loved one. They were wronged. Lied to. Told they had nothing to worry about. They’re angry. Yes we’re in the Titanic and have hit the iceberg. I’m looking , as are others. We all need paychecks. Stability. Smart ones won’t wait until it’s too late.

I just do not get why people let go one year ago, are STILL

obsessing over this company?

Let it go, it's not healthy.

We're aware we are on a sinking ship, but we still need paychecks.

If i had been booted last Feb, i'd have no real interest in what's happening in

the stores right now.

They mostly all are threating . Before I was laid of my manager would tell me the District manager would tell them things like "This is want you were hired for " They would put them on a "PDP" for all kinds of things that were completely out of their control because of unreasonable expectations . Which is what this company is all about now. Unrealistic expectations !!! Honestly I really don't think this company will last till this coming christmas. If you are still there you really should start looking for something else. It doesn't matter what you store managers say if you are foolish enough to believe them, then that is on you. Your dedication isn't enough for them at this point. Is the stress they are putting you under really worth it. Unless of course you are the 80 percent of still existing employees who really don't give a c-ap. You are on the Titanic. Jump while you can.

Our DM has done some really disgusting things too. I 've read some of the threatening emails she sent.
