Any truth they scheduled a bunch of people to WFH on Wednesday to stress test the VPN? Way to rub salt in the wound guys...

Standard test they have been doing it for years
I hope you enjoyed it, they are few and far between
My group in Pittsburgh participated on Thursday. We were told 30% of staff, but they limited it to anyone with a corporate laptop. In my group that's the analysts that my manager favors and the campus analysts that are too important to work on our floor and spend their days on 12 drinking free coffee and playing ping pong. What a waste of time...
Collaborating from home huh?
Wonder what will occur in a true business continuity situation given that staff won't be familiar with logging in remotely to the system having not done it in so long since WFH is eliminated. Sorry customers, I will get to that very critical funds movement as soon as I'm able to speak with a member of the help desk team to walk me through my remote access logon. It may be a few hours hold time as 1/3 of the help desk has been laid off to make our company run more productively.
Yep we had to test then they told us we were no longer allowed to wfh
It was actually scheduled for yesterday, 2/14.
"At Home/Remote Access MUST be listed in the Recovery Requirements of you Business Continuity Plan"
"Minimum 30% of Recovery Staff Participation"
Blah, blah, blah.
