Hahaha, you can already park wherever you want. That’s one of the side benefits of going from 15k employees to 3k.

1/ I pray I get past 0900 everyday without the HR guy calling me down to the office for my walk of shame.

2/ Nobody will make a decision in this company for fear of the same.

3/ We scream for cost savings but allow profound markups on our large commodity purchases when we can easily wholesale trucking and sand with a tiny investment in logistics human resource. Nobody wants to hear it because of kickbacks that will not be kicked....

4/ The daily pe--smeasuring goes unchecked and even encouraged. Congrats, all you 2” heroes, you made it to the top! I’m glad you’re taking out all that pent up anger from being made fun of in gym class on people who are actually WORKING to keep you wealthy.

Unbelievable that CHK continues to compensate for underperformance. Failure to cut discretionary costs is a big reason the company is where it is.

Since when is 3% a bad raise? You know raises for promotions & “exceeds expectations” rating will be more. I’m thankful for the 3% given our stock price. My management is regularly recognizing those of us that work hard. They’re doing as much as they can as far and pay and bonus are concerned but I really appreciate the acknowledgment for a job well done - beyond money. When my VP takes the time to hand write me a thank you card for working so hard on a project or recognizes someone in a meeting with our whole BU for going above & beyond - it makes an impact! And while some may make fun of our Applause system, I’ve benefited from all the gift cards I’ve exchanged points for!

To anyone complaining about their bonus or merit increase. Maby you should talk to the folks over at Devon Energy. Their stock value is 10x ours and they didn’t get a merit and from what my friends there say that their bonus is reduced in an effort to raise their stock price. I know there is no shortage of complaints and negative actions taken by people that have been placed in leadership. I am still scratching my head at the EHS VP’s recent actions. Regardless sometime you just have to continue to stay humble and thankful you have a job with great benefits.

@XC3W2Jb-ucs really, CHK should be lucky they're able to retain employees. Management has "lost the locker room" so to speak. Morale has tanked among all but the most avid kool aid drinkers, and mgmt plays the blame game far too much, i.e. blaming everyone and everything but themselves. I think it's time for a new head coach.
