Rumor had it they are building new stores on the moon.
It's because the company is worth so much more without all those damn stores. lol
It's because many shareholders / prospective shareholders do not realize shldq will be dissolved once fully liquidated. It is not at all unusual. This is not the only Chapter 11 bankruptcy where shareholders believe they have been rescued by a white knight; only to learn later that not to be the case.
