I’m embarassed to say I work there. These people are the scum of the earth. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy a career at BNY. Literally every bank is better than us, and now with the WFH being axed; what’s the point.

There are people in Bny who don't do any work and only ki#$$ ##s , they do all the odd jobs for their bosses to ensure they get a good bonus/ salary , hard working employees who do work are being laid off.. overall the place is a sh-- hole to work in , the sooner one gets out the better !
XAZ7tTO-lmv - you mean by kissing a&& as you do.
Even charlie sheen would make a better CEO HAHA and keep all employees happy
Not true. All those b@“& kissers on his blog do lmao
For who think it's the new way, it's okay if you kiss a-- and would step over anyone to get to the top. The kicker is those who come with the big degrees but move up to the based on that paper and not what they know.
Scharf knows how to make money for shareholders. That's it. That's all he does. he doesn't care about you or me or anybody outside his elitist circle. He is an unethical, amoral, tyrant.
The place has become like a circus , one gets to see new acts on display on a daily basis.. overall the song for Bny Mellon is -" it's going down . I am gathering timber " from pitbull . No offence to Pitbull ! Haha
Fidelity investments and J.P. Morgan use this same rating system. It works. Otherwise you have everyone getting a trophy, even if they’re not winners.
BNYM is just getting with the times. You can no longer coast. You must prove your worth.
Acting without integrity is the new normal for many corporations, sadly. They care about 'legal', not 'ethical'.
I've been trying to get the hell out of BNY for months. I've been interviewing for various jobs but everything I've been interviewing for is a serious pay cut from what I currently make. I have the luxury of time and that at least I'm still fully employed. Bny is a sinking ship and the New forced ranking system is ridiculous. My manager told us about it like it was no big deal. Obviously it means that somebody is always going to have to be at the bottom of the barrel even if their work quality is very good. That in itself makes me want to quit because the Forced ranking system basically means someone's always going to be the odd man out at the bottom of the ladder, regardless of their true performance. This new CEO has put plenty of Nails in the coffin. I joined this company in 2010 and everything was fine until the new CEO arrived.
