Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Sorry Mr Immelt, I am aloud to speak my mind...

I have to admit that all I have seen and read after his departure is pretty bad! He DID mismanage this company and a few others as well were involved. I look at GE as a SHELL GAME. Remember that game with the nut and three cups? That was why it was so difficult to pin point what they were actually doing within all their business. By doing this, it enabled them to fool everybody!!!!!

His leadership s---ed in the end. I hope he realizes this????????? He lived high on the hog. Just the fact of flying a empty plane around following him is a prime example.. I mean … who does that??

He didn't contribute to the employees pension fund adequately. He almost brought our stock to -0-. He has caused hardship on all the different families out there who lost their jobs. He has caused stress, hardship for everybody's future. How can this guy sleep at night?

Sorry Mr Immelt, I am a loud to speak my mind... U might think you did a great job, U dropped the ball Sir... Why was this fair to your employees? Lets pray Mr Culp can undo the messsssssssssssssssssssss YOU created.

A truthful post that I reposted from @XtaCrEG-7txf

The leadership at GE has f—cked over so many people over the years, most folks that were smart enough to move or were let go simply are luving what they see. GE Middle management is going no where and they now are the ones that are getting screwed. GE leadership deserves what they are seeing a fat zero in their bonus and raise Column year over year. All for the benefit of board members and very high senior leadership. How does it f—cking feel ? GE is a POS company that deserves to file for bankruptcy! Somewhere along the way GE leadership completely lost the connection that hard working employees make the company. Not a$$ clowns that run around with six sigma presentations and power power presentations that claim productivity and cost savings. On a final note, when has GE as company paid a decent tax bill? Think about that....does it make sense ? Smoke and mirrors!

Your comment was the truth! ....when I worked there that's all they did ... Spell check PowerPoints and walk around with undeserved arrogance... I left ..best choice of my life! They've been robbed blind, pensions underfunded, health insurance absolutely s$cked, and the footprints are being sold off like used car lots.... But..... All they can do is spell check.....they are the laughing stock of the world ....

WS comes up with the buzzwords. They need buzzwords to sell stock, then move on. Turn on CNBC in the morning for 10 minutes and count the buzzwords. You may even get to see Larry drool, Jack stutter and wife #2. That said, Immelt is an id--t.

Ironically the only post accurate had an incorrect spelling...my guess is a dyslexic individual...phonics isn't their strongest point but has nothing to do with intelligence level ... Obviously !!! All the spell checkers at GE should probably have been more concerned with performance...now they've been stolen blind, pensions underfunded, stock in the toilet, and let us not forget...toxic environment with no integrity... Make sure you all have that spell checker on... Because that is priority ! LOL....

I'd say more like 40 years but nobody really counts the first 20 years.

Immelt is merely the fall guy for years of corruption & incompetence. At some point, you have to realize that GE has been a "house of cards" for 20 years... buzzwords, strategic initiative, sell lies to wall street
