Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Too expensive for DXC

20+ yr of IT experience, certified aws and azure, yet getting the boot. To expensive I guess. Beter that way. Already lined up something else at higher wage. Don't Xpect Compensation

And that right there is the whole point, @Xxycevj-2uzp. No matter how many years you've been here, no matter how valuable your knowledge and experience are, you will still be cut because you earn more than they are willing to pay you - even if you deserve it!

And that's why this company is failing so miserably.

That's disgusting - particularly considering we have clients screaming for senior AWS skills.

DXC only want unskilled cheap m@rons working for them and that is pretty much all that is left. There are still a few skilled older folk who are nearing retirement who are hoping they can ride this sh@tshow out!

Like wise ... after 20 years ( 20 years of RIF and WFR threats ) , DXC let me go and it’s not my loss but theirs . They lost a valued , educated , experienced and ( not like some CEOs under a lawsuit on ethical behaviour ) an employee of quality that has been garnered by another institution . Their loss - my gain .

DXC will never learn from their behaviour .. it’s systemic . It’s entrenched in their existence. It won’t ever change . It’s who they are.

So when you do exit , don’t ever think for one minute that you are expendable. You are not . You have worth . Worth that DXC can’t understand , appreciate , acknowledge or retain properly .

same thing here - cloud, azure, sap and sap Hana... so all the strategic offerings for DXC. Good ratings, bonus on deals, however got laid of last year (by the way, best thing that ever happend to me).

It is better to take your future into your own hands then to stay frustrated into a company with bad guidance, low morale, and ignorant management.

so much weight dropped of my shoulders once I was out!
