What happen to Rauno? why new VP so dumb?
Rajeev Suri was born in india and he has a loyalty to it. He has done nothing since he became CEO of nokia. He is really bad, and political. He hates China, although you have to read it between the lines, but it is obvious from how he operate internally in nokia. Moving everything to india and some to east europe to please the finish, which by my scale are real puppets. The nokia board is so ineffective, and so unhinged from the market relaity and the customers.
MN is badly managed. They already fired two presidents since nokia bought ALU. this telll you the waist of time and money. The strategist at the top are mo--ns, leaving an an ivory tower over white elephants, like in india 100 years ago.
This is my opinion only -
USA needs to create a NEW and IMPROVED Lucent Bell Labs to develop 5.5G, 6G, 7G, etc. USA has so many engineers in the telecom field already. Perhaps Apple and Google can start a new USA only network company. Then USA doesn't need to rely on foreign companies like Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE, or Samsung.
We already have great companies in USA that can provide the chips for 5G such as Intel and Qualcomm. We have innovators like Google, Apple, Facebook. We have service providers like Microsoft, Amazon. We have switch, routers from Cisco and Juniper. We have the 4 biggest customer providers (ATT, Vz, Sprint, Tmob). We have it all, So what is stopping us. We need USA/Trump gov't support.
What's your opinion? Are we FOREVER going to rely on foreign companies for our (USA) communication. One flip of a switch (or a hidden character in the code - not visible during code review - Just look at the past history of what caused huge network outages) and they can just shut it all down. And the worst part is that 5G is going to control everything - your lights, your water, your heating, etc. Like I said, we need a NEW and IMPROVED Lucent Bell Labs. This is my opinion only.
Rajeev? Bring more India guys to the projects!
