I got my notice today. Been fun.

Layoffs are imminent. Few of us were laid off already. All about budgeting and cutting cost.
When 2/3 of our normal capital budget is going toward a share repurchase program, they don't need most of us around here. That sounds like we are closing up shop.

Was in a meeting with another company. Their execs were present. One mentioned they heard a lay-off was on the horizon..
