I’m curious why you think Isilon is dead? What in the portfolio comes close to it?

I love it when the smug say its all deadwood. The majority of Dell is deadwood which is why they stay there so long, other companies require more than living off one to products in the portfolio both of which (client and servers ) could be done over the phone or my kids right out of college, ie does not require a senior sales person to do it.

They are just getting rid of deadwood, not a big deal

Isilon is a dead product, so it makes sense to get rid of them. It's not a layoff . A layoff a discharge, especially temporary, of a worker or workers or a worker that will be hired back
