Johnny and Billy are in separate but similar energy businesses. Johnny sees a play developing. Billy has property there. Johnny and Billy let prices rise as the play develops. Johnny gets money from investors and loans and pays exhorbitant price for Billy’s interests. Billy funnels money to Johnny for paying too much. Property doesn’t pay off. Billy gets property back for a song. Johnny moves on late to next play. Repeats system.

get Nbl to pay too much for your company and secure seat on board. Hire good buddy from a previous company who got fired from his last position to run Nbl. All's well the ends well. I hope this ends well for employees and stockholders but have serious doubts .
