Home services, if bought, would only be bought for the customer list and any equipment. The workers would be let go and would have to reapply for jobs. Standard operations when a company is bought out.
Home Service will remain, someone will buy us, unlike the stores, we make money. Blue Crew is the best. At least I hope.
@1sui If you store them at home, I doubt the buyer or liquidator would bother trying to force everyone to bring them in. They'd have no value to a new owner wanting to rebrand the division.
Not to get too far off topic but, does anyone know, if Sears does go out of business do the techs get to keep their uniforms?
Sometimes it's awkward to ask directly. I no longer work for Sears and although I am in touch with some of my former co-workers, it's the elephant in the room.

No dumb a$$ , they cant talk about anything at work because if I were an a## hole like you , I might accidentally say something to the wrong person , its better to do it on an anonymous site like p##sys like you use , go back to your bedroom before your mama sees you !
Well if you have so called "friends" there why don't you just call them DIRECTLY instead of asking about them on an anonymous message site !
