Is it just me or is Follett is hiring more kids just out of school as course material managers theses days. Where have gone the standards?

Why do think follett declared jihad on experience 5 years ago? They went after long tenured staff like a shark takes to chum. If you had 20+ years, you were abused out of the company. Your position wasn't replaced, they hired two children to do half the job you used to do. None of this is new. This is reason #1 why NO ONE is safe at follett. If you're approaching 15 years with the company, you're number is coming up faster than you want to know.
Cost is #1 in everything that Follett does. Out with the old and in with the new (or ex Sears employees). This has been going on since 2013.
Cheap labor to be trained to the Follett way, they will not know any better.
it's either that or those 15,000 just laid off from sears. They don't have much of a choice since Follett's reputation these days is in the you know what category.
