Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Competition is hardening on the data center server chip market

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that the presentation of Huawei’s new data center server chip is a direct threat to Intel; at this point, but it might be soon. The very fact that competitors are attacking the market in which Intel holds the96% os sales gives me an indication that Intel could have a serious competition where it rules now. Lack of innovation in this segment from Intel is not encouraging either.

Circle the wagons, build on our huge installed x86 base of software and hardware.

Accelerate our product roadmap like clock work precision on advanced node as nothing beats what scaling has done. Make sure we screw the big cloud and sever as they have no choice but buy intel, make billions and look great to Wall Street

Ops still stuck on 14nm for 6 years now while ARMy and AMD ramps one generation ahead technology on 7nm and 5nm comes next year

Intel’s strategy and situation a lot like IBM propritary mainframe, minicomputer and workstation. Makes billions on closed system and leverage it for technology leadership till something with more scale and open that had faster cadence and superior technology won as it always inevitable does.

Tick tock tick tock time is running out on visonless, leaderless and rudderless intel
