New 16 TB HAMR Drives in media

Can anyone shed some light about the 16 TB HAMR drives shown in all media now? Isn’t that a real HAMR head?

You will get a money losing product at the start of next year that will lose money for several years.

Any news on HAMR? Will we get a product this year?

sure thing, unfortunately the said hamr head has a very short time-to-self-immolation; but not to worry, in a "couple of years" (sounds familiar?), ca. 2020, such "minor" reliability flaw will be a distant memory and hamr will dominate the world of rotating storage...(LOL)
