To Post ID @WvzkYnl-vrr - How about a) you have a little compassion, jerk, and b) go troll somewhere else? It can take forever to search through these threads, and sometimes it's easier just to ask, especially when you're worried and stressed out.
To the OP - I just had my severance interview two days ago. As the other (non-troll) posters said, if you're in the US (although I don't know if there's a difference by state), your insurance will last until the last day of the month in which your severance ends. My health, dental, and vision will all be covered for that period. So if your severance ends on (as an example) March 15, you'll be covered under your health insurance until March 31.
All other benefits end as of your last day of work.
