Why are SLB managers so brutal and uncaring of their fellow employees whetting comes to layoffs - is it ethical and immoral?

Sorry to say, they are brutal it is forced down from the top.

So it is like pulling the trigger while looking the other way, you still complete the same act you just dont watch it. Also the reason seen lots of lower or middle managers do the dirty work of their bosses who do not have enough integrity to take care of it themselves.

honestly.. you have no clue. It's a business.. compensation is a huge part of costs.

A manager will get fired if he doesn't make revenue targets, IBT, market share, SQ, manage costs or a million other things. Do you really believe he has the time to make such an effort to be brutal or unethical to individuals? My guess would be that the whining individuals that waste everyone's time with hot militant air, may by rise to the top of his list though. ;-0

I .not generalizing, most of current slb employees are who backstabbed hard working and money generating staffs and caused them layoff.
