Again we have a perfect example of poor GE management. Middle of year the company new the workload was going to pick up. Employees told company that they better start now and call back people but of course they didn't listen. We also told them we need a constant flow of parts and of course we are always short on parts. Now of course we are way behind on our locomotive orders and the company has been paying oodles amount of overtime money to get caught up and telling employees that we need to make our commitments in order to insure more orders in the future. Its always the employees fault.No.wonder this company is in a mess.Maybe Wabtec will run it better.Shame on GE management.

Nothing will change under Wabtec as they are leaving the current management in place. Sad fact is that it is the same across all the businesses. Hence the reason the company is in the state it’s in.
Does anyone in GR Transportation review the orders to ensure you have capacity and material to meet the customer commitments? Did they make promises they knew they couldn’t keep, customers will not last long that way
So what you're telling me is that a business waited until it had more than enough work and then is trying to get it done as quick as possible????!?!?!?!!! Crazy.
Same in Oil & Gas. The Cretinville clones have infested everywhere.
Chaos is money
Same thing is happening in Healthcare. I hope whoever buys us will be someone who knows what the heck they are doing. Our current leaders are totally clueless.
So, what else is new?
