So a friend with Legends management group hit me up today. They got a booking from a Follett corporate today for a suite costing $250,000 for the Cotton Bowl game. Just cause Notre Dame is playing in it. Yet the same id--ts cut my store’s payroll twice in the past month by over 20% saying “sales across the company are down and we have to cut costs”. This suite is a cost you can cut! It’s part of no contract. Just Todd and the other sacks of c-ap wanting to show off!

Corporate at its best, like GM laying off thousands of experienced staff, look what at Follett when they did that.
Protest in order???
Great. With all this free cash, we will FINALLY get some raises.
Just keep saying amazing family until you arrive at a narcotized state.
And keep in your place - you're just the help and by God you better not forget that.
They NEVER fail!
If confronted, they'd simply claim that this was already in the budget. They through a Notre Dame/Stanford BBQ every other year when the game is played at Stanford. The year of the big layoff, this party was held two weeks after the layoff. The remaining bookstore staff had to play step and fetchit for the corporate goons (including stuffing goodie bags).
The FO in follet stand for failed optics.
Maybe you should let your school contact know. News media might also be interested- an investigative reporter. Just saying.
