What Mikey and co don't seem to get is that you can't just take in a Grad and immediately expect them to perform in a high pressure customer-centric delivery or support role. It takes experience, confidence, establishing contacts, industry knowledge, knowledge of processes etc. all of which take considerable time to acrue and all of which are disappearing as the company is gutted.

It would make far more sense to retrain the existing staff into 'Digital' who should be more than capable of re-skilling - any competent technical person makes a habit of keeping their current skillset relevant or picking up appropriate new skills for their area of expertise - Digital would be no different.

BUT NO !!!

Mikey's game plan is, and always has been, all about cutting the overall staff costs in the long run and he's prepared to suffer the loss of a few clients as a consequence. The trouble is I don't think he appreciated just how many clients would bail due to the abysmal service DXC now provides and the knock-on effect this would have with any future client looking at DXC prior to tendering work.

Mikey will be long gone when the full devastating implications of this strategy comes to fruition but he will have made millions so stuff the rest of you - GREED IS GOOD, someone in a film once said.

Yep Mikey was the one to coin in his presentation to the shareholders the strategy to WFR more experience people - those that don't longer fit and rehire people with the ready skills and also touched on getting University grads in the company post graduation and sort of promise to fund grads whilst in universities - so this strategy has been agreed by ML and is happening now.

Good for Mikes as he can employ people on cheaper wages and less generous packages but likely to not meet customers expectations and deadlines.

What never ceases to amaze me is that amongst all the constant WFR’s, all the bad performance scores by clients yet all I see is how well DXC is doing on LinkedIn! It’s just total b---s---, everyday something comes out and I sit here thinking I wouldn’t trust DXC to change the time on my clock. 1) how do they manage to get budget for these initiatives when it’s hard to get expenses for visit to a client site. 2) why are we not held up for misrepresenting ! If you look at a lot of these videos, it’s made by the ministry of stating the obvious! Unbelievable ! I wish I had the gumption to b---s--- like that! Perhaps that’s it, I’m too honest! Role on my WFR, please let it come soon! Been denied twice, hoping for 3 times lucky!

He hire staff on a need to support / project basis using University Internships, Outsourcing, near sourcing and on-sourcing basis via relevant agencies and staff regardless where they are located...

Who is the stupid person who wrote the above? Internships to support production environments great way to lose the client.

Why would a client come to DXX if they can do the same without our overhead?

People come to companies because they think we are experts in the feild.

Some people on this site as as screwed up as our management, maybe that’s why were in such sorry state.

If company is UK WFR again and not sure why they're still recruiting now>?>>. If they want to reduce costs then remove all mobile workers, remove inefficient layers of managers, cut office overheads and no of offices to couple like Nottingham, Kings Cross, Chesterfield. A ML idea that he's may do - cut all UK employees out of equation by WFR but have a few managers like Hands, etc and rest of staff WFR them all. He hire staff on a need to support / project basis using University Internships, Outsourcing, near sourcing and on-sourcing basis via relevant agencies and staff regardless where they are located...

Before I left this sh_t hole of a company I emailed this piece of sh_t asking him to define and explain the "self selecting redundancy pool" in which he'd emailed me informing me that I had been paced in. He couldn't answer my question as he had no idea himself what the email actually meant. He passed my email onto some hr a$$licker who gave me some generic bulsh_t response. The man has his tongue firmly up ML's a$$. I'm so happy to be out of that place.
