Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Closing Bartlesville is nearing

COP CIO has announced that he is "all in" with the cloud, that should start the downsizing of Bartlesville IT. Phillips 66 is doing the same thing and their layoffs are to resume Jan 1 2019 in Bartlesville/Worldwide.

I am guessing the next two years will dismantle Bartlesville. Leaving some of the Finance and HR people in Bartlesville. But that can easily be moved to Houston, for both companys.

Living in Bartlesville is so frustrating. I have to travel to Tulsa to do shopping or entertainment.

Oil price is continuing to fall, closing Bartlesville may be coming sooner than expected.

You’re over 39 and need to go. Here’s a cane to help you make it to the door. Don’t let it hit you on the way out.

hope they wait until Jan 2nd as I intend to be off on the 1st,

on a side note, if you're over age 50, prepare to be a target, they don't even try to hide it anymore,
