Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Your questions, answered by Ginni.

Looks like this was a company-wide message just received via email:

Two weeks ago, you asked Ginni your most pressing questions - from cloud to IBM's future and

beyond. She responded with a video on Think Academy.

We're keeping the lines of communication open with the second edition of Ask Me Anything. Submit the

questions still on your mind until Tuesday, November 27, and Ginni will respond to the top themes later

this week.

Apparently everyone's burning questions weren't answered in the first session so they're scheduling another one. Anyone have questions for Ginni?

Ginni,

When will you shoot yourself in the head so we can get this company back on track?

The public does not trust a US president beyond two terms, why would it trust a board?

Corporate boards should be limited to two short terms (the second one by reelection) with a quota of votes from employees who know the inside picture.

Ginni,

Are the caravan migrants good candidates for all the new collar jobs?

@2ytu - The only feedback here is from disgruntled IBMers. Which is about 90% of the workforce. Why would she want to hear from anyone but her loyal followers.

Someone at IBM should inform Ginni that there is feedback at this site.

Rubbish. You submit a question and maybe she will answer it in the future? That's not communication, it's posturing.

If you ask a question they dont like, 1. They wont answer it or even acknowledge it and 2. Your manager will get a note and you will be the next one to go. IBM was a great company to work for when I joined in 1992. I left after 23 years and would never go back.

Drop in stock price means people are not believing any more. More sellers than buyers.

Dear ginni, why would anyone in their right mind take ibm seriously? Watson analytics, watson health, smarter planet... really? What a load. Honey, why do people still believe?

Desperate company right now. Never seen this in 30 years at IBM. Sell the stock and update your CV. Rome is burning.

So true

They should save everyone's time and just write a letter

IBM shares are down about 22.5% in about two months.

Ask her when I am getting my money back and when she plans to step down. A year ago we were at $160, now we are at $117. Why am I, as a shareholder, paying her?

What a laugh. The questions are written by her staff and just set her up to give talking points. The audience is chosen to give her maximum love and NEVER ask anything that might be out of line. They should save everyone's time and just write a letter.
