Time for new beginnings

Laid off staff engineer. Start new job in Austin Texas. 50k raise from Qualcomm base salary plus bonus plus RSU plus deluxe relocation package for family.

Goodbye Qualcomm. You nearly destroyed my family but God saved me from your bad decisions.

Please have hope if you are still looking or worried about security at Qualcomm. Follow your instinct. This is God quietly speaking to you.

The next year is bad for tech in California. My best advice is to strategically find a position to ride out the coming recession.
