Just wondering if anyone know's about possible layoffs for AIGRM?

I agree many are bracing to get RIF'd and move on. Not sure why they don't just ask for volunteers to get RIF'd. It may be more cost effective and would provide much better morale at AIG. The way they do RIF's now is shameful. They said they learned from the past on how this was done, but haven't changed a single thing in the way they do it.
Is this true?

Last I had heard, AIGRM was gearing up for growth. Hiring UWer's and UA's ... but so far as I have seen, no premium has been hitting the books. I believe that they may have genuinely intended for something to happen but my broker friends tell me it has become a place of last resort.
It dates back to when the pulled AIGRM from the regions back in 2016-ish and centralized in a few hubs. That didn't go over well with brokers/clients. All familiar names/faces gone. Response time was not as good. Then they rolled it back out into the regions but the damage was done at that point. The market is confused as to what AIG is doing right now - so many changes in structure and also leadership, the layoffs aren't exactly a secret. If you were a broker would you bring your client here, knowing more changes were probably going to be happening?
I have not specifically heard about any layoffs for good ol' Div 55 but anymore you have to expect it on every level and everywhere.
Hank is gone, Icahn is gone, I believe Brian D. had every intention of doing AIG right as it was in his blood, but things have gone unchecked too long and now the snowball is halfway down hill and gathering more steam.
Breaks my heart. MRG and others, myself included, poured themselves and their lives into this company. Makes you stop and evaluate what is really important in life.
It's time for me take make peace with this company and move on.
