Sears announces the list of 504 stores that are up for sale

The plan for selling assets is looking more and more clear, as Sears filed a list of 504 stores that are up for sale. This doesn't necessarily mean that these stores are safe from liquidation, only that the company considers them an asset that they want to sell. Think that we will have a more clear picture of how this is going to pan out after the January 11th hearing.

My store was sold last year and then leased back to Sears. Think of it as sort of a reverse mortgage, however if monthly sales are less than lease payment, landlord can terminate lease at will.

So what does it mean if you are on the list?
