I think the least you could do as a CEO is send an template email to all your employees saying “thanks” is it too much to ask for?

You will get NOTHING and LIKE it. Also, I'm grateful for MYself. So thankful for ME. Who needs anyONE else? Did you know I have the BIGGEST crowds? They ALL say it.
Colleagues,
As we start making our way to dinner tables with family and friends, I wanted to take a moment to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for the incredible blessings that we share in this country, while realizing that we can’t take them for granted. As has been said, freedom, security, resilience isn’t free, we have to fight for it each day. That is the heart and soul of Fortify 24x7, that is what we do for our customers!
I am thankful to our military and first responders who will be working over the holiday, to keep us safe as we gather with our families. I encourage you to thank those you see working on Thanksgiving instead of being with their own families. We owe them a debt of gratitude.
But most importantly, I am thankful for you: our customers, partners and friends.
Why send a Thanksgiving note the week before you have layoffs? Sounds a bit cruel to wish "thanks" when you're about to layoff another 2,000 people in a desperate move to keep the Titanic afloat. Nothing in Mattel's portfolio of brands is selling.
Forget about Mattel getting "gobbled up" by another company. It's going to be "carved up" - just like the Turkey from last week. Sorry - couldn't resist :)
Why does Mattel toy with its employees emotions?
Jive Turkeys.
But I refuse to use any further fowl language, less I rustle some feathers.
I hope Mattel’s govbled up by a more caring entity.
