Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Expecting anything from the holiday season is wishful thinking

This is just one of the articles that I ran onto online that emphasizes the importance of good sales during the holiday season, seeing it as something that can save Sears. I can’t decide whether to think that the authors are poorly informed about the condition that Sears is in, or that they are deliberately spreading false hope for some reason. Sears couldn’t make good holiday sales for a couple of years now. How can someone expect decent results if the company couldn't make them in the past years with a larger store footprint and with fully stocked shelves?

@nuv I meant flyers

No radio ads

No morning meetings in a long time

Seems like even management has given up!

Well on prime clerks website docket 862 has the entire list of stores either to be bid on as go forward stores or liquidation.. That's enough news to depress anyone

Id like to know also

No tv advertising

No mail flees of the great things at Sears

No much in the way of Black Friday sales to bring people back into the stores

It's sp depressing

I am working today so I'll try to keep a tab of how many people actually come in the store especially when it's my normal nap time

I'm only a part time worker
